		<description>Thanks for including Paul Rudolph's monograph.  That book, along with Sibyl Moholy-Nagy's "The Architecture of Paul Rudolph" published in 1970, should be on every architect's bookshelf.  I agree with you he should get more attention - his work is being demolished even as his contributions to Late Modernist American architecture are getting more attention.  His work at Colgate University (one of many campus buildings he designed) is inspirational.</description>

		<description>Thanks Dave for another fantastic post. I am a massive Nelson fan as well. I have the cherished Nelson On Design book and love it for the same reasons you've stated, though I would recommend considering the best writer on design a person who sat a few offices down...Ralph Caplan. To me, his influence may in fact have been greater. Either way, Herman Miller is the link and all credit goes to them not just for their overall leadership and vision, but for their fitness to remain a leader even today.</description>
