OHMIGOSH! Thank you so much for doing this interview and siting David Weidman as a source of inspiration. I Have been trying to find David Weidmans work for is for 3 hours. I was looking for the general style of his art altogether. But I came across this beautiful site, which not only gave me more artists to be inspired by, but I found the artist that I was looking for and was able to study him and his work in more depth.

No but seriously i've been typing vintage, to stylized Victorian, art nouveau, children's book illustrators, the whole nine yards trying to find out what to call this style. So thank you so much for creating grain edit.

Great interview! Really inspiring work, as always. I was wondering if anyone could offer any further insight into how Jim Datz uses InDesign in his illustration process? I was intrigued by this and I'm curious to learn more!

Any help is appreciated!

This artist has really inspired me today. I like the use of grey outlines and brown backgrounds instead of the usual black. It helped me to think outside the box with my own work.
